Hot Buttered Rum is my longest-running project, my home base and my launching pad for all kinds of other creative ventures. We tour nationally and play Bay Area shows and events of all shapes and sizes:
Solo Acoustic
In addition to the many joys of playing in a six-piece band, I also love performing alone with just my vocal cords, my banjos and guitars. I love playing my own songs and I love playing other folks’ songs too.
Hot Buttered Duo / Trio
What started during the pandemic as ways to play smaller shows with my bandmates have become a musical endeavors in their own right. Guitarist Nat Keefe and I hold forth with sit-down folky goodness as the Hot Buttered Duo; the addition of Bryan Horne on bass makes for an old-school Butter dance party.
